The word CHARM (spell, magic), or in other words, bewichment, is associated with a woman, with femininity in general, and at the same time it describes some extraordinary phenomena
that escape generally known laws. It is also a component of another word, the word witch, which combines the feminine element with magical skills, with abilities that allow one to penetrate areas inaccessible to ordinary mortals. It is not for nothing that this term has a synonym, hag, which – as one can assume – refers to the one who knows,
who is initiated.

Bianca Patricia Isensee‘s paintings are an important voice in the discussion about the role of women in contemporary society. They speak of the unique initiation that is knowledge
of the world of plants and their use in terms of health and vitality; an initiation that has always been an important factor in women‘s autonomy.
